Mille Lacs Lake has 132,520 acres of some of the finest walleye fishing in the country. In fact, the lake has been described by some as a "walleye factory". You'll also find largemouth and smallmouth bass, black crappie, northern pike, muskellunge, and the infamous eelpout among the reeds and cabbage patches of the lake. Although fishing is a major pastime on the lake, it is not the only one. On clear summer days the lake is dotted with colorful wind-surfers, elegant sailboats, graceful water-skiers, and daring jetskis, too.
